Bibliographic note: versions of the Dell second edition were printed both in the USA and Canada, with no precedence between the two versions. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship these books in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure they reach their proud new owner in the same condition as my description. Pages are unmarked and unworn, with unfaded publisher's green stain around edges of the text block. It is in near fine condition, marred only by shallow creases in its hinges and a few faint traces of wear to cover edges. It is in near fine condition, marred only by a shallow reading crease in its front hinge, some spine lean, and some faint traces of wear to cover edges and corners. The Signet first edition has "First Printing, September, 1960" and no other printings on its copyright page. TWO copies, both in collectible condition: the 1960 paperback original first edition, Signet #S1840, PLUS the 1968 US second paperback edition, Dell #8249. ![]()
